Our Business Support team is a collective of dedicated and curious individuals who are responsible for the development of OpenWisdom as a business. As an administrative assistant, you’ll be taking ownership of the day-to-day, supporting the General Manager in administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.
Job type: Casual, 3-5 hours / weekYour role and responsibilities
- Manage weekly class scheduling and coordinate with tutors to ensure classes are running according to the schedule
- Engage with parents, students, and tutors face-to-face or over the phone to resolve their enquiries or concerns
- Manage the day-to-day operations including taking attendance, printing class materials, inputting data into spreadsheets and maintaining cleanliness of the branch
- Complete relevant, administrative related ad-hoc tasks when they arise
- Open and/or close of centre before and after operating hours
- Effective and clear in communication
- A strong conflict resolver
- Professional and well-presented
- Organised and have attention to details
- Driven to grow and learn
- Able to work under pressure and within a changing environment
- Interested to participate in business-led activities
- Previous customer service roles or admin experience (Preferred but not essential)
- Completed High School Certificate or equivalent
- Competitive pay starting from $27/hour with review at the end of each calendar year and may vary depending on your previous experience in a similar role

- Weekday shifts start at 2pm or 3pm and weekend shifts start from 9:30am; a perfect arrangement for university students or graduates who want flexible hours
